Umoe BioEnergy's agricultural and industrial operations are developed in Paranapanema, Brazil.

The location is essential. Brazil has the most productive land areas in the world for sugarcane production, and sugarcane is known to be the most efficient feed stock for the production of ethanol – considering both energy efficency and production costs.
